Rosslyn Chapel (June 30: 182/365)

Took a day trip to Rosslyn Chapel, just south of Edinburgh. If the name rings a bell, yes, it’s the one where a part of the Da Vinci Code was based and filmed, which would explain why it was packed with tourists (and a cat that decided to sit in on the talk inside the chapel).

Probably oft overlooked, there are the ruins of the Rosslyn Castle just down the road.

We do not get out of Glasgow often enough. This must be addressed.

I have many more photos of the Chapel and the surrounding areas on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/janihelle/sets/72157634521980408/
